What you get when you merge PDFs online

With this tool you can merge PDFs online—put several PDFs into one file. No account needed. Your files never go to our server; everything runs in your browser. Here’s what you can do.

Add PDFs by drag and drop or click

Drop your PDFs on the upload area, or click it to choose files. You can pick more than one at a time. Only PDF files work here.

Add more files later

After you add some PDFs, you’ll see a list. Use “Add More PDFs” to add more. They go to the bottom of the list. You can add in steps if you like.

See a preview of each PDF

Each file shows a small picture of its first page so you know which is which. You also see the name, how many pages, and the size (like 48 KB or 2.1 MB). If we can’t show a picture, you still see the name and details.

Change the order by dragging

The order in the list is the order in your final PDF. Drag a file up or down to move it. The numbers (1, 2, 3…) change as you move things. You don’t have to remove and add again—just drag.

Remove one file or clear all

Each file has a remove button so you can take it off the list. To start over, use “Clear All”. We’ll ask you to confirm so you don’t clear by mistake.

Merge PDFs with one click

When the order looks good, click “Merge PDFs”. You’ll see a progress bar and text like “Merging PDF 1 of 5…”. When it’s done, your merged file downloads by itself.

Text stays selectable and searchable

We put the pages together as they are. We don’t turn them into images. So in the merged PDF you can still select text, search, and copy. Links and forms keep working too.

Your files stay on your device

Everything runs in your browser. Your PDFs are not sent to our servers. We don’t store them or look at them. Your files stay with you.

Merge PDFs online on any device

You can merge PDFs online on your phone, tablet, or computer. On a computer you can drag and drop. On a phone or tablet you pick files and use the same buttons to reorder and merge.

No signup

You don’t need an account or login. Open the page, add your PDFs, put them in order, and merge. No email, no password. Use it as much as you want.

One merged file when you’re done

When you’re done merging PDFs, you get one PDF file (the name might be like merged-1234567890.pdf). You can open it, print it, or share it like any other PDF.

So: add your PDFs, drag to set the order, click Merge PDFs, and download one file. It’s free, your files stay private, and you don’t need an account. If you have questions, see the FAQ below.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will text remain selectable after merging?

Yes. We merge PDFs by copying pages as-is. We do not re-render or convert to images, so all text, links, and form fields stay intact and selectable.

Is the Merge PDF tool free?

Yes. Merge as many PDFs as you want, for free. No sign-up, no limits. All processing happens in your browser.

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Your files never leave your device. We don't store or see your documents.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first (e.g. with our Password Remover tool). Then you can merge them here.

Is there a limit on file size or number of PDFs?

There's no fixed limit. Very large or many PDFs may take longer or use more memory; merging in smaller batches can help on low-memory devices.
