mypdf.guru is a free PDF toolkit built for students and professionals who want simple tools and clear privacy — especially when the file is personal, like a marksheet, ID card, or exam form.
Hello, my name is Yagyavendra Tiwari. I work as an AI Engineer. I built mypdf.guru because I kept seeing the same problem: there are already many PDF tools online, but most people still do not feel safe using them with personal documents.
People often ask me: “There are already so many PDF websites. Why make another one?” Fair question. For me, the answer is simple — trust.
A lot of sites ask you to create an account first. Many send your PDF to their server to process it. They may say “we delete it after,” but honestly — how do you know? When the file is your marksheet, ID, or job form, that doubt feels bad.
You just want small things done: make a PDF smaller, turn a photo into PDF, merge pages, split a file. You should not have to stress about “Did my file go somewhere? Will someone else see it?”
So I built mypdf.guru — where most work happens on your phone or laptop, inside your browser. No sign-up. For most tools, your file stays on your device and we never receive it.
Here is the simple split:
Almost every tool — compress, merge, split, image to PDF, watermark, password tools, and the rest — runs on your device. Your file stays with you. We do not get it on our server for those jobs.
Only PDF Editor is different. Real text editing inside a PDF needs heavy work that does not run well on every phone yet. So for that tool, your file goes to our server for a short time — to read the page and build your download. We do not save it in an account or keep it for later. When the job is done, that data is deleted right away.
I wish every tool could stay 100% on your device. We are working toward that. PDF Editor is the one exception today — not because we want your files, but because the tech is not ready yet on all devices.
I am from India. Every day, students here upload exam forms, compress marksheets, and turn photos into PDF — often from their phone, in a hurry, with no time for complicated websites.
I made mypdf.guru for people like that — and for anyone who wants PDF work done fast, free, and without signing up or worrying where their file went.
This site is for anyone who needs free PDF tools for personal or professional work — at home, in class, or on the go.
I built mypdf.guru so you can work on PDFs without that small worry in the back of your mind — “Where did my file go?” Every tool page tells you honestly what happens to your file. No fake promises.
I will keep adding tools, making the site faster on mobile, and moving more work to your phone or laptop when the tech allows it. If something feels confusing or broken, message me on LinkedIn or use Contact Us — I actually read feedback and fix things.

Explore free PDF tools on mypdf.guru — compress, convert, merge, split, watermark, sign, and more. Most run in your browser on your device.
Yes, completely free for normal use. Compress, convert, merge, split, watermark, sign, remove pages, add or remove passwords — no subscription, no account needed. We also do not put a mypdf.guru watermark on your downloaded file.
No. Open a tool, pick your file, download the result — that is it. Many PDF sites force you to register before you can even try. I did not want that. Just get your work done and go.
Because people still upload marksheets, ID scans, and job forms to random websites and hope their data is safe. I wanted one place where most tools run on your phone or laptop, and where we tell you straight if a tool needs the server — no confusing fine print.
For most tools, your file stays on your device. We never receive it. That includes Compress PDF, Merge PDF, Split PDF, Image to PDF, PDF to Image, Password Remover, Password Adder, Watermark, Sign PDF, and others.
PDF Editor is the only exception — your file goes to our server so we can read the page and build your download. We do not save it in any account. When the job is done, that data is deleted right away. More details are in our Privacy Policy.
On your phone or laptop (in your browser): compress, merge, split, image to PDF, PDF to image, watermark, sign PDF, remove pages, password add/remove, HTML to PDF, Markdown to PDF, PDF to handwritten, and the rest.
Uses our server: PDF Editor only — and only while you are editing and downloading. We say this clearly on the PDF Editor page too, so you can pick the right tool for sensitive files.
Click-to-edit PDF text is heavy work. It does not run smoothly on every phone browser yet. So PDF Editor sends your file to our server for a short time — to read the text and make your download. We do not keep your file saved after that. Over time, I want more tools to stay fully on your device when the tech catches up.
For marksheets, ID scans, admission forms, and exam uploads, use tools that run in your browser — compress, image to PDF, merge, split, and similar. Your file does not come to us for those.
Need to change text inside a PDF? Use PDF Editor, but know that file goes to our server for that job. Always keep a backup copy, and read the tool’s FAQ before uploading anything very personal.
Yes. The site works on phones, tablets, and laptops. A lot of students in India do everything from their phone — compress a form, turn a photo into PDF, merge pages — and the tools are built for that. Very big files may feel slow on older phones; that is normal for any browser-based tool.
Compress, merge, split, image to PDF, PDF to image, watermark, sign, remove pages, password add/remove, PDF Editor, HTML/Markdown to PDF, and more. See everything on the Tools page.
No. We do not stamp mypdf.guru on your file. If you use our Watermark Adder, that adds your own text or image — only when you choose to.

Something broken? Want a new tool? Tell me what you tried and what happened. Message on LinkedIn or use Contact Us. A screenshot helps a lot.
You do not need to give any personal info to use the PDF tools. We use Google Analytics to see general traffic — which pages people visit, what device they use. It does not see your PDF contents. If you fill the Contact form, we keep your name, email, and message so we can reply. We do not sell your data. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
Every PDF is different — scans, passwords, weird fonts, huge files — so no tool is perfect every time. Always keep a copy of your original file first. If something fails, try a smaller file, unlock a password-protected PDF first, or switch browser. Still stuck? Contact us with the tool name and what went wrong.
Add more tools, make them faster on mobile, and keep more work on your device when possible. Every page should say honestly what happens to your file — no hidden uploads, no fake “100% offline” talk when a tool needs the server. I want mypdf.guru to be the PDF site people trust for everyday student and work tasks.
